Jessica Hughes

Jessica earned her Master of Business Administration from Troy State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Florida State University, building a strong foundation in financial management and organizational strategy. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Certified Construction Auditor, and Certified Financial Educator Instructor, bringing a unique blend of credentials to OVID’s grant management team.

With over a decade of experience in financial oversight, auditing, and compliance, including leadership roles with Florida A&M University, the Florida Department of Transportation, and nonprofit organizations. Jessica has managed multimillion-dollar budgets, overseen construction audits, and ensured grant compliance across federal, state, and private funding streams. At OVID, she leverages her expertise to strengthen financial reporting, compliance management, and performance evaluation, ensuring clients have the tools and confidence to manage complex grants successfully.

Jessica also serves on the Board of United Partners for Human Services and has held leadership roles with the Institute of Internal Auditors Tallahassee Chapter. She is committed to advancing accountability, efficiency, and transparency in every project she leads. Outside of work, she enjoy volunteering, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, their two children and two fur babies.
